THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

Welcome to this week’s edition of my Benevolent Outcomes Blog, and welcome to everyone who subscribed in the past week.  This Blog is for people just discovering how to use a very simple, yet powerful and effective spiritual tool you can use every day the rest of your life.  It will lessen the stress and fear of life in general, and will make your life easier. It’s so simple a lot of people say “It can’t be this easy,” but it is, because IT WORKS! This reconnects you with your Guardian Angel, or higher power, or whatever your belief is. You simply say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for…….., thank you!” When you read the stories below, sent from all over the world, we use the acronym MBO for Most Benevolent Outcomes, GA for Guardian Angel, and BP for Benevolent Prayers (what you ask for other people).

Subscribing to this blog is easy, just go to http://www.gentlewaybook.com/blog/?feed=rss2 .  I also email a weekly newsletter with more advanced topics, which you can subscribe to by going to http://TheGentleWayBook.com.  Here you can also read a couple of sample chapters of my first book to give you more suggestions on requesting MBO’s.  Please forward this blog to your friends if you enjoy reading it.  In the Articles & News section I have a new Search Function you can use to search all my articles and newsletters by simply entering a word or phrase.  And be sure to request to be my Friend on Facebook.  I give extra information during the week there.  Now for some inspiring stories.

GUARDIAN ANGEL NAME

Teresa writes:  Wanted to let you know that I was able to “hear” my guardian angel’s name last week.  I just asked for a MBO to know my guardian angel’s name and it just popped into my head (no voice, just a thought).  It was a very unusual name, one I was surprised at.  A female name, although I know there really isn’t a gender.  This type of occurrence does not usually happen to me, so it was a BIG surprise.

So, I hope folks find that encouraging in their pursuit to find out their guardian angel’s name.  It was really an experiment; I just threw it out there not really expecting an answer but got one almost instantly.  Like you said, not verbal but a clear thought message.  Sort of like it “overrode” my mental barrier and
had the opening and instantly took advantage of it.

I have been using the MBO’s and Benevolent Prayers frequently and consistently now for some time so I imagine that helped “open the door”.

As I told Teresa, when you begin requesting MBO’s you become more “aware” and it raises your vibrational level. What she received was an instant “thought packet” as my own Guardian Angel Theo calls them.  That’s what I receive in meditation.

GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP & MBO REQUESTS

Helena from London writes:  First of all I wanted to say how I am really enjoying reading The Gentle Way II. And I am tickled pink to find my name and MBO storiess in your book. It has made my day. I Thank you so much for this.

Now Tom here goes……..

1. My sister has not slept in the evenings very well for a very long time and I have been concerned about this. She knows that I am into Angels and MBO’s and I have been raving about MBO’s to her for ages (I have just come back from staying with her  and I have been giggling with delight reading my name and MBO stories  out to her in your new book).  My niece Karina loves doing MBO’s too; this makes my sister laugh. She teases me and says that I am away with the fairies (I tease back and say no, get it right, I am away with the ANGELS!).

Anyway Tom, the other night I said to my sister why don’t you say “I request a MBO for having a peaceful good night’s sleep, thank you.”

I also said “I ask that any and all beings please assist my sister Ethelene in having a peaceful good night’s sleep, thank you!”

I rang her up the next day after she had sent me a text greeting me with… she had slept better.

Friday evening she said the above MBO again. And I to said one for her again.

This morning Tom she texted me these word’s……….”Had a brill nights sleep, I never thought I would believe in it,” she said.  You can put her in the book too!  It’s brill! (all the words she texted me). Trust me Tom I have been trying to get my sister into MBO’s for ages now. She is NOW a believer! How fab is that?  Hipi!

2. My CD player in my stereo unit has not opened and played for ages. I have said MBO’s for this (to try and get the draw open) but it just will not open and play again. I miss playing my soothing music, which is all on CD’s.

I was wondering Tom if you could suggest an MBO for seeing if you can make my CD draw open on my stereo system and ask your readers if they will join in with me saying the MBO  out loud too. And lets see what happens?

3. Last one Tom…..

My sister and I have made lots of hand made lavender bags, we have been very creative, they have beads sewn on, hand made heart’s and Angels hanging on the bags and they are filled with Norfolk Lavender.  It has been real hard work Tom……. but they are really nice. We want to make some money. Because they are nice we do not want to give them away at a cheap prices.  The prices will range from £12.99 to £3.99. Everyone is different and it has cost us quite a bit to buy certain things…

So Tom would you please be able to help us out  with a good MBO for successfully selling everyone of our beautiful handmade bags? Thank you!

I too will be saying MBO’s, so OPRAH INTERVIEWS YOU. I am a VERY BIG Fan of hers.

Before I give some MBO suggestions for Helena, for my American readers, “Brill” is English slang for “Brilliant,” which is used quite often in conversations in the UK.

For number 2.  “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome that my CD player works again, or that I be provided with a replacement, thank you!”

3.“I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for completely selling all our bags, and may the money we receive be even better than we can hope for or expect, thank you!”

BRIDGE CROSSING MBO

Kathy writes:  The great results from using MBOs just keep rolling in! Here’s the latest:

My husband’s commute to work and back takes him over the Hood Canal Floating Bridge. This bridge opens and closes to let marine traffic through, which causes quite a backup in traffic and usually a delay of half an hour to forty-five minutes. Yesterday my husband called me on his cell phone to let me know he was stuck in “bridge traffic” and would be delayed. He called again a few minutes later to tell me that he’d found out the bridge was stuck open and no one knew when it would be open again. He was considering driving around Hood Canal, which would take him about two hours.

I told him to wait about half an hour. As soon as we hung up I requested a Most Benevolent Outcome that the bridge become unstuck and close within 15 minutes. He called me again about ten minutes later and said the bridge had closed and traffic was moving. Fast results! Thank you Tom and thank you Guardian Angels.

HOSPITAL MBO

Lynn on the Oregon Coast writes:  Hi Tom..I just came home from having a great experience I thought might not be so great… I had an appointment for physical therapy at local hospital here.  This is a very low populated area on the Oregon coast.  The hospital serves its purpose as a first stop for most. You hear good and not so great things about it.  I have to get PT for my knee, and had heard various things about PT dept at the hospital.  Several not so good things.  So I was concerned.  But need to get this done close to home as possible.  Other options mean trip to Portland an hour plus away…

So I went this morning and said an MBO for the best possible outcome for therapist and outcome for my knee. When I got there it was national Physical Therapy week, so they had all their PT”s posted on nice bulletin board.  As I waited I looked at all 15 of them and thought…surely there are some good ones for me.  Then I got called in, and met Amber…wonderful young woman and despite her age, she knew just what she was talking about and listened to me, and answered every question I had very well and gave me more.  I left feeling hopeful for a good recovery and relaxed about it all….  Thank you very much (angels and Tom for showing me about MBO’s).

I’ve previously described the same situation when I was in the hospital.  I requested my Benevolent Outcomes and then didn’t worry.  That story, along with others in the same vein (little pun there) is in a chapter titled HOSPITALS in my The Gentle Way Book II.

CUP OF COFFEE MBO

Now here’s a MBO I never thought of requesting.  Mark writes:  I have been enjoying your newsletter very much and have been using requests for benevolent outcomes for a couple of months now. In one of your past newsletters you mentioned the importance of asking for MBO’s for anything, especially the small stuff so we remember to ask for MBO’s for the big stuff. Less than an hour ago I really wanted a cup of coffee but I am providing phone coverage and could not leave my desk.

I whispered my request to my GA, “I request a most benevolent outcome for someone to buy and bring me a cup of coffee, thank you!” Well, a coworker sent me an email offering to get coffee and another coworker offering to buy mine.

Another MBO I asked for was in regards for a friend whose beloved cat had escaped the house and was missing. I asked for a most benevolent outcome for her safe return. Three days later when he was about to give up hope, Ginger timidly came up to him in his front yard allowing him to pet her, calm her and get her back inside where she belonged. Thanks for this teaching. I was skeptical at first but am convinced now.

FINDING THE RIGHT HUSBAND

Anupa writes from Kenya: My niece in the U.K. is almost 30 years and is getting quite agitated with the fact that she’s unable to get the right man to be her wedded husband. How should she go about with the MBO’s? Also her parents are getting worried as in our culture the girls usually get married by 28/29yrs of age.  Any MBO’S her parents can use? Please help Tom.

She can say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for the PERFECT husband for me to present himself soon, thank you!”

You and her family can say, “I ask that any and all beings assist my niece to connect with the PERFECT husband for her as soon as possible, thank you!”

Keep in mind everyone that when you request Benevolent Outcomes for these larger events in your life, YOU HAVE TO ALLOW TIME for your GA to put things in place for a connection to take place.

Now for this week’s inspiring stories.

MBO’S AT WORK

Cindi writes:  “Just wanted to let you know about our MBO’s at work. I lent a copy of your book to my co-worker. We work in a very stressful environment, and both started requesting MBO’s that everything go smoothly. We do this every day, independently. We have had such a good response. Each day we both remark how well things turn out.  We are always ready to say “thank you” to our angels and guides, and now I want to say “Thank-you” to you for bringing this “gentle way” into our lives.”

BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES FOR SLEEP

Julie writes:  “Tom, I have had trouble falling asleep most of my life.  One night a divinely inspired thought occurred–request a MBO for a good night’s sleep.  I fell asleep almost immediately and slept though the night.  I repeated the experiment with the same results.  Thank you for the inspiration.”

Thanks Julie.  That’s a Benevolent Outcome request I hadn’t thought of.

LONDON BENEVOLENT OUTCOME

Dianne writes:  “The four ladies in my office (of which I am one) passed an insurance examination this year.  I can tell you I needed all the MBO’s I could possibly imagine during the study and the actual exam -Thank The Angels we all passed!

“In recognition of all the hard work and eventual success in passing the examination, we were rewarded by our Company to a meal at a top London UK restaurant. We were booked to attend The Wolsely Restaurant, which was built in the 1930’s I believe, as the show room for the new Wolsely Motor car (www.thewolseley.com).  In honour of this prestigious car, the showrooms were designed on the Venetian/Florentine architecture of the Art Deco period in marble, sweeping staircases and ornate mirrors. The Wolseley is situated opposite the Ritz in the Heart of the Piccadilly, Mayfair Area of London and is the haunt of many well-known celebrities, APPARENTLY.

“I did not know that this was the reason the restaurant had been chosen for us however, my manager who accompanied us and as I say, unknown to me, was desperate to see, and most of all MEET, a celebrity.  He complained all evening that we were dining too early; that we wouldn’t be able to see (from where our table was) a celebrity, if they did happen to arrive. I, on the other hand, was having a wonderful evening having previously asked for an MBO. The venue and food were first class and the atmosphere quite warm and friendly. Quite often these places can feel intimidating.  Anyway, No Celebrities!

“Finally, we were ready to leave and so Paul (my manager and desperate to see a celebrity much more than any of the four ladies!) another lady and myself went to the restrooms.

“We went down one of the sweeping staircases to the lower floor where the restrooms were situated, one at a time. I was the last down the stairs when all of a sudden I heard a lady shout. I knew it wasn’t my friend however was concerned that she was OK so rushed to the door that I’d seen her disappear through. In the door way with her back to me was a lady laughing and talking to Jane (my friend) who stood behind her. The lady had thought Jane was someone she knew and had shouted in surprise at seeing her there (Incidentally, no-one was more surprised than Jane!).  When the lady turned round and I could see her face, she was none other than a famous UK Celebrity and TV Presenter. She apologized to me for delaying me in the doorway and then left. Jane and I held on to one another laughing so hard because here was our celebrity and we had practically bumped into her!

“Well, it didn’t stop there…Oh! No! The Angels had more surprises in store!  I went into the cubicle only to find a mobile phone, a pair of sunglasses and a cardigan on the shelf!  When we went back upstairs, I found our waitress and gave her all the stuff saying that the lady who had just left the restroom before us was, and that these could possibly be hers.  They were and she was very grateful for them to be returned especially her phone as you can imagine.

“I had such a wonderful evening Tom, and would have enjoyed myself without meeting my new celebrity friend; however she was the ‘icing on the cake’ as they say and such a fantastic MBO–one that I would never have imagined myself! It was just so funny when we told Paul what had happened.  You couldn’t believe the look on his face! I can see it now.

“So I said, ‘I told you but you didn’t believe me, did you? If you want to meet a celebrity, you request an MBO!’  I’m still laughing from the whole thing. How funny, eh!”

As we’ve covered in these blogs before, you can request Benevolent Outcomes to meet interesting people on planes, trains, buses, and restaurants.  I even requested a MBO to see a UFO during a trip to Sedona and got to see my first one several years ago.

MBO’S FOR ORACLE CARDS

Kelly writes:  “I wanted to share with you a new recent use of MBO requests I’ve employed.  I regularly consult oracle cards of various types of which one of my favorites is Doreen Virtue’s “Daily Guidance from Your Angels” deck.  Now, when I pull a card and read the guidance, I request an MBO for assistance following through as suggested.  This is especially helpful when it may be an emotionally challenging suggestion.  I have noticed that I again feel my companions in spirit are helping me out as I bring thoughts of the oracle guidance to my awareness throughout my day–knowing I have assistance/company sure helps….even if it is “just” a frame of reference.

“As a result I feel I am more successful following the suggested guidance offered to me.  I know I haven’t gotten specific on the guidance, but I think I’ve made my point.  So, as I see it, the requests for MBO’s can assist one in their spiritual growth in this way too.  Thanks so much for your great weekly newsletters.  They sure keep the MBO’s at the forefront of my mind, along with the signs for printing out as reminders!”

Notice what I’ve mentioned in previous blogs.  Requesting Benevolent Outcomes makes you more AWARE and heightens your sensitivity while raising your vibrations. And don’t forget that you can print out signs as reminders that are available on the website.

GENTLE DOCTOR VISITS

Nancy writes:  “I have started (requesting) MBO’s daily and they make my day really smooth.  I am a retired 70 year old, so having days run well without any glitches is so helpful!!!  Doctor’s visits run on time and are easily accomplished without any distressing news; problems seem to resolve themselves fairly easily.  Thanks a lot.  I really appreciate your work!”

As I have mentioned many times in my previous blogs, for those of you who have not yet made requesting Benevolent Outcomes a habit, this makes your daily life easier and more gentle.  It lowers stress, the fear factor, and probably your blood pressure.

BRAS BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES

Lynn from Oregon writes: “I wanted to share this part of a letter my friend Annie sent me… She had made a trip to Phoenix to take care of her 90 year-old father, who needed some dental work.  She lives up in a small mountain town but used to live in Phoenix.  So when she comes down she tries to get a lot of things that life in small town does not offer…  I introduced her to MBO’s by sending her a copy of your book… As you can see she has become a great believer… “

From Annie in Arizona:  “The rest of my trip after taking care of Dad, was pretty good, and full of MBOs!  I needed to shop since there is no place in our little town to shop for what I needed.  I did get 3 bras on sale at Kohl’s on Senior day, with that discount to boot, and a smoking deal on blue jeans.  I needed bras and was going to buy them no matter what the price.  The first Kohl’s only had one in my size and it was on the bottom rack and way in the back; you know how it is when you have to have one specific brand/style.  I even had to squat down to find it.  Off I went to another Kohl’s asking for a MBO for at least 2 of them.  I walked into the department and there were 2 of them on the front of the rack, chest high!  I continued to ask for MBOs for all my errands and got primo parking spaces and all my stuff in no time at all.  The oral surgeon was even early, the wait for Dad’s return transport was faster than usual and I had a safe quick trip home.  What a deal!  I thanked the universe and angels profusely.”

I guess that was a “BBO”!

THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

Don’t forget that THE GENTLE WAY II is NOW AVAILABLE for delivery on Amazon.com and is in stock! The Gentle Way Books

Welcome to this edition of my Benevolent Outcomes Blog for everyone that enjoys inspiring stories from around the world from people using this simple, yet powerful spiritual tool each day in their lives.  It makes life so much easier when you do.  You start with the simple, mundane requests such as a parking spot or seat on a subway or train to gain trust that this WORKS!

As an example, you would say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for a parking space next to _________, thank you!” Now you don’t do this one minute before arrival—you make the request as long in advance as possible to give your Guardian Angel (your GA) time to set it what with another GA so that a person who was planning to leave, leaves at the exact time you arrive.

Please feel free to visit my website http://TheGentleWayBook.com, where you can also read or listen to my weekly F.R.E.E. newsletters, articles I’ve written for magazines, a couple of chapters of my first book, and more!  You can even print out signs to help you to remember to request Benevolent Outcomes each day.

This week I’m going to discuss how to ask for Benevolent Outcomes for other people. The earthquake in Haiti is a good example, so let’s begin.

HOW CAN WE KNOW?

Susie writes:  “I know you are being flooded with emails concerning the earthquake in Haiti and all the suffering that is going on there.   I’ve been asking my GA and other spiritual beings to help these people but I guess my question is how can I be sure that my requests are being heard?  Hope this is not too trivial.  I really enjoy reading your newsletters.”

When you say a Benevolent Prayer for someone else, you don’t always see immediate feedback as you do with many of your MBO requests.  In my first book I described how saying a BP for a couple on a plane, who had left her purse at security, and seeing the joy they felt when she returned with the purse.  So you do have to say these and have faith that they do work.

In this case have you not read nor seen on TV the massive amount of aid both from governments and the general public, it is huge.  So the question is, have you said a Benevolent Prayer for these people yet? If not, say RIGHT NOW, “I ask any and all beings to assist the people in Haiti affected by the earthquake to be rescued, and to be aided in recovering from this disaster, and may the results be even better than we can hope for or expect, thank you!” You say “ask” instead of “request,” as a whole different set of angels responds to these Benevolent Prayers INSTANTLY!
If we have hundreds more people saying this prayer, think about the ENERGY that is created!  Pass this along to your friends, and perhaps lead your group in everyone saying this—not just you.

OHIO BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES

Peggy writes:  “Hearing you talk about requesting MBO’s has changed our lives here in Ohio.  We’re having some major construction work done on our home so I requested a MBO for our carpenters’ workday.  Before they left that day they remarked that they didn’t know what happened but their work just flowed effortlessly and they got so much done!  I told them I asked for a MBO for them.

”I told my husband Joe about MBO’s and he was so excited about trying this.  We both do it every day now and throughout the day for everything–it’s a wonderous feeling to know none of us are alone in this journey.  This past Monday Joe asked for a MBO prior to leaving for an out of town 2-day workshop he was teaching.  His fellow teacher came in to work that day horribly sick–so Joe said he could handle the class all by himself.  His co-teacher has 16 years experience–Joe is a new teacher with 8 months experience in teaching weatherization techniques.  8 months ago he was milking cows at an organic dairy and working at Wal-Mart.  Our area is so economically challenged and it took him 2-1/2 years to find his present job.  Everything was on the line with this class.

”The class turned out so great–his 27 students all wrote great reviews of their experience with him.  His new bosses were so impressed that he was willing to handle this class by himself and that he did so well.  Joe’s confidence has soared and his future looks bright with this company and in this new field.

”I do upholstery and continually ask for MBO’s on every piece of furniture I work on.  I was so behind in all my orders because of a recent move we made and all the construction work going on around here.  Now I’m completely caught up and once again feel professional, on-time and excited about the magic of creating beauty with great workmanship.  I was assisted in clearing the back-log by my angelic helpers.  Thank you Tom, for sharing this incredible awareness in so many of us!”

And thank you Peggy for sharing some great MBO’s!

LOST PURSE & CELL PHONE MBO’S

Laurie writes:  “Here’s another example that our guardian angels are ALWAYS listening:  Recently, my mom came home from the grocery store and realized that she didn’t have her purse.  (It’s a small clutch, not a big handbag.)  After some confusion and worry, she remembered what I’d told her about MBOs and asked God and the angels to help her find her purse.  She didn’t use the exact language of “I request a most benevolent outcome for…” but the message went out!  She returned to the grocery store parking lot two hours later (having first cancelled all her credit cards just in case), and while she and one of the managers were combing the area where she’d parked, the fellow bringing in the shopping carts came up to them.  He held up my mom’s little clutch purse and said:  “Are you looking for this?”  Not only had he found the clutch, he’d found it only a few minutes before encountering my mom.  It had been wedged in the flip-up seat of the grocery cart.  (Nicely hidden.  Thank you guardian angels!)

”And what a great case of synchronicity.  The purse had been sitting in the cart, out in the parking lot, for TWO HOURS, before my mom, the manager, and the cart collecting employee all merged.  Wow!

”I write fiction for a living, but if I wrote this incident in a story an editor would say it was contrived!”

Recently here in Dallas my son could not find his very expensive cell phone (to call it just a cell phone does not do it justice).  He looked all over his bedroom and office in our house and then looked in his car and so on.  Naturally he called his cell phone from all over the house but couldn’t find it.  I reminded him to request a Benevolent Outcome and he did.

My wife asked me to search his car once again, so I took my cell phone to ring his along with a flashlight.  When I rang it and heard no sound, I said out loud to myself, “It’s not here.” After it went to voice message, I dialed again and as it was ringing, my son came up behind me with his cell phone ringing.  It had been buried in a drawer in his desk and for some reason he didn’t hear it ringing before.  I got to go back to TV after 11 hours in the office.  A nice, quick MBO!

MBO FOR DISSOLVING A MARRIAGE

Daphnee in Vienna, Austria writes:  “I read your newsletter with interest and there was a request about marriage in the last one. I am trying also to formulate an MBO so that my marriage dissolves without having to go through drama and trauma.  Can you help me with a formulation that is more positive?”

For Daphnee and anyone else going through a divorce right now, I would suggest, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for dissolving my marriage in the most benevolent way possible, and ask that the emotional cords that are connected to my spouse be severed in a most benevolent manner, thank you!”

Then you can also say a Benevolent Prayer for you and your husband–“I ask that any and all beings assist and comfort both my husband and me so that this divorce be as amicable as possible and may the results be even better than we can hope for or expect, thank you!”

I Hope this eases the process for both of you and for any reader in the same situation.

TRIP TO THE UNITED KINGDOM

Previously I included in a couple of blogs about my trip to Cannes, France and the Frankfurt Book Fair in October, but was a trip to England I took last March.

I requested a large number of MBO’s during the trip.  I now always request MBO’s for the safe arrival of my luggage, for getting through the Security line with no problems, and for sitting next to an interesting person on the plane. I always travel business class if I have enough mileage to upgrade, and on the Continental Flight to London from Houston, I did just that, but the plane was not full and there was no one next to me.  That allowed me to “spread out” with things in the seat next to me, and there was no sound of someone eating while I went to sleep after taking a Melatonin (vitamin that helps you sleep if you are not familiar with the name).  Plus it was easy getting up to go to the restroom without having to climb over someone else in the middle of the night.

I requested a MBO to easily find Val Stoner at the London Heathrow Airport, and had stood there waiting at the coffee shop for less than 5 minutes when she arrived.  I stayed at a very nice Bed & Breakfast in their largest room Val had arranged.

The B&B was only a one-block walk to the railway station, where on Thursday I went to Windsor for lunch with one of my DVD company clients in the UK.  I had to change trains twice and requested MBO’s for getting to the right train. At each of the two stops there were kind people who directed me to the correct track.  I even sat near a gentleman from Philadelphia who’s a “head-hunter” living in Windsor and a lady going to a play that was headed for the West End in London.  They directed me in the right direction to Don Beni’s restaurant.  The waiters sing there.  Fun place if you are ever in Windsor visiting the castle.

On the way back I requested a MBO for the trip and was OK with the first change, but arriving in Twyford, I wound up following a sign saying Henley, but it was incorrect.  There was NO ONE on that platform to ask.  Then suddenly out of nowhere two ladies appeared, inspecting some construction work on the platform.  I asked and they said that the train was on a different platform and pointed to the train already sitting there.  I thanked them and ran up the stairs, over the bridge and down to the platform, thinking they might close the doors any second.  They didn’t until 3 minutes after I entered the train car.  Now THAT was a Benevolent Outcome!

We had a great time in the workshop and I had requested a MBO for that, and had everyone request it too. Then on Sunday Val and her husband Jim took me to the London City Airport for the flight to Nice, France.  I naturally requested a MBO for the drive, as we had to go through the middle of London. We arrived in plenty of time.  I really must publicly thank Val for all the work and friendship.  She’s a great lady and a catalyst for Benevolent change in the United Kingdom.  Mine was the first workshop she arranged in the UK, but she has several more in the works.  If there’s anyone else that would like to sponsor a workshop, let me know soon, as I must plan months in advance.

The London City Airport is such a small airport that they close the Security line down at times.  Naturally I requested a MBO for my luggage to arrive on time, and for my trip through the Security checks.  I also requested a MBO to sit next to someone interesting on the plane. The Air France commuter jet I flew on holds 81 people and it was stuffed with people attending the world TV market I was headed for.  There was a jolly English chap that sat on my row in the plane and we exchanged business cards.  He’s the managing director of an internet supply company and has already sent me an email upon my return suggesting we do some business.  The runway is so short that the pilot kept the brakes on while revving the two jet engines up to full power, then letting off the brakes and off we went like a catapult.

Upon arrival in Nice, it was in a downpour.  I had been given a free bus pass as part of my “platinum card” service (earned through many years of attendance at this market), so I requested a MBO to not have to wait too long after I picked up my luggage, and the wait was a short 10 minutes. Again there were lots of market people on the bus to talk to.   As it was raining, I hurriedly walked the two blocks to my hotel with an umbrella stuck in my jacket while I rolled two bags.  After checking in, I requested a MBO to pick up my badge with no problems and that went smoothly—with no lines. I had requested a MBO for someone interesting to sit next to for dinner, and it turned out to be my old friend Dominique, as a dinner with a French client had been cancelled when they decided not to attend at the last minute. It was nice to catch up, as I know that having these dinners will not happen as often in the future; Theo has told me that our paths will divide more in the future, especially when requesting Benevolent Outcomes becomes widely known in the next couple of years.

Each day at the market (as I do every day) I would say the EXPECT GREAT THINGS TODAY mantra (found on the website under the SIGNS tab for new readers of this blog).  And then I would request a MBO for all the meetings that day to be productive, and the results to be even better than I could hope for or expect.

I won’t bore you with the rest of the details of the business portion.  I requested MBO’s for not having to wait long for the bus back to the Nice Airport and it was again less than a 10 minute wait. I was hoping for an upgrade to business class for the flight to Paris, but it was all coach.  The MBO was that I had gotten in the Elite or Business Class line so my wait was much shorter than the coach line, and two of my clients from Japan were in line and they got me an invitation to the Elite lounge where I had a free sandwich and cola.

In Paris, my bag showed up in reasonable time and the wait for the shuttle bus to the hotel was not too long.  I flew back to Houston on Air France the next morning next to an attorney whose main client in Europe was Airbus, and he was pleasant.  On the plane I mentioned just a little about The Gentle Way.  As we approached the Passport Control there was a huge crowd there from two 747’s that had arrived before us.  As we went through the queue, I saw there were two lanes that were roped off.  I quickly requested a MBO for them to open, and they did open just three people in front of me. I told the attorney that this was an example of THE GENTLE WAY.

    THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

    THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

Welcome to this edition of my weekly blogs about using a simple, yet very powerful spiritual tool, which you’ll be able to use the rest of your life.  I discovered about 14 years ago that I could request Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s) for SPECIFIC things in my life, and my Guardian Angel would respond with assistance from the very mundane requests such as a parking spot to important things in my personal and business life where I run an international film and TV program distribution business.  IT WORKS! But experiment and prove it for yourself.  You say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for____, thank you!” Below are more stories sent to me from around the world from people incorporating this simple spiritual tool in their daily lives.  Enjoy!

STRESS IN A SURGICAL CLINIC

Helena has previously written me when she was out of work asking for MBO’s.  Now she has found work as a receptionist in a surgical clinic, but she’s stressed as the doctors and nurses are “bitchy” and are not nice to her or the other receptionists.  I’m condensing her email as it was long and detailed.

Helena asked:  “I was wondering Tom if you could help me with the right wording for doing MBO’S for — 1. Getting on and fitting in with the Doctors and the Receptionists. 2.  Protecting me from the Doctors and Receptionists.  3.  Being able to do and understand everything that I am expected to do.”

“I am worried about being able to stick the job out and I want to enjoy it, but I never realized how hard working and stressful it is.  And I know soon two of the receptionists will be leaving because they have had enough of the way they are being treated. Although we all work so hard there is hardly any fun and laughter in the place. The Doctor’s Surgery is very clean and so nice.  I am a healer Tom and although I have told some of the receptionists, they think I am odd for being into healing.  I am not ashamed of this and they do make me laugh with their responses, I just want to be able to fit in with everyone and be able to do everything that is expected of me as a receptionist. So far I am a nervous wreck because I am under so much pressure, and I don’t feel that some of the receptionists and Doctors are that nice or helpful towards me and I am to frightened to speak out in case I may lose my job.  Many Thanks Tom for your kind help and patience.”

These suggestions are not only for Helena, but anyone else that might find themselves in a similar situation.

Perhaps you were put there to be the candle in the dark room of stress as the medical personnel try their best under extremely trying circumstances themselves.

So what can you do to “lighten” up the place?” I’m going to give you some suggestions, but I don’t know if you can implement all of them.  Do the ones you can.

1.  Each day when you go to work say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for my work day, may my work be productive and without error, and may the results of this work day be even better than I can hope for or expect, thank you!” Print this out in big letters and say it before you go out the door each day.  This sets it up for your GA to do some amazing things with your day.

2.  Are you allowed to place a sign on the wall in front of your work station?  If so, why not put up the EXPECT GREAT THINGS sign that you can print out on my website (http://www.thegentlewaybook.com/signs.htm).  Naturally you can say this each time you come to work, but it will also be there available for others to read–and you want them to.

3.  Each day you can say a Benevolent Prayer for everyone you work with–say, “I ask that any and all beings send loving and calming energy to all the doctors and other medical personnel in this facility and surround them with loving pink light all day, thank you!”

4.  Is there a place where you could put up funny cartoons about doctors and nurses–that would make them laugh?  Laughter is GREAT for the soul! You could find them online by doing a Google search.  Then you can cut them out and put them on bulletin boards or above you desk or in the lunch room.  If anyone sees you doing it, just say you think the place needs a little laughter and humor.  Perhaps others will start to do the same thing.

Remember, healer–you can be the healer of healers!  Be that beautiful light!

JOB MBO IN AUSTRALIA

Lynn writes: “Hi Tom, thank you for all your assistance.  I have nearly read all of book one and it didn’t take me long. The newsletters are good for getting more ideas on using them. I was thinking of copying any good ones and adding them into the back of the book.

“I said one yesterday for an area I feel blocked in and last night I had a dream where I felt this got unblocked as I experienced a situation and felt things being released in the dream. So now I realize, if I request one it can work on any level in the physical or dream worlds.

“Today I rang the people who supply and deliver our fruit and veggie box to us each fortnight and just remembered as I was being put through to quickly say an MBO.  I told the customer service person that our fruit from them has been bad, and I wasn’t satisfied; and she gave me 50 percent off our next box!  I also found out how to know what’s in our box in advance–a real help for us.

“On a weekend outing to do a small job at a shopping centre I asked for an MBO and afterwards I saw how many good outcomes there were; if I said them all here it would take up a page. The job I did went really well with the person and we had a very good exchange that is unusual for people doing her job. A man came up to us in our car as we were leaving asking for some money to buy petrol, so Michael gave him a few dollars and then I saw him at a Ute with the hood up and a petrol can in his hand, so he was genuine.  So they work for helping others also, and I had asked for an MBO for a good car parking space. So I will stop there as it goes on to quite a few other things that occurred.

“I have sent out your last newsletter to my email list I have, called Divine Angel Treasures and put a link with your book on Facebook.  Nice chatting with you like this Tom and thank you for all your sharing you are a generous benevolent soul.”

The second book was just finished by my publisher.  For those of you who are Amazon Associates, you can link my first book from your website and make some extra money.  And link the book website on Facebook and MySpace if you wish.

MUSIC MBO’S IN HAWAII

(Edited for space)  Blake in Hawaii writes:  “I answered an ad for a guy looking for a warehouse space to store/ play his drums. I needed a drummer, and I currently rent a warehouse with a studio apartment attached here in Honolulu. (another perfect MBO outcome)….The drummer (Kimo) and I met and he moved in.  He brought in an electronic drum set made by Roland….. a real basic kit–a toy really.  We started to jam just for fun…. He spoke about how awesome my music was…. and that after the first of the year he would have more time, and he volunteered to help me record a demo.

“We played (he came over 4 times), Christmas came and he said he would be unavailable till the first of the year. When I hadn’t heard from him I called on the 6th… no return call… nothing.

“I am jonesing to play at this point and re-requested the MBO for a perfect team to back me up with my music.  Later that day an acquaintance introduced me to a music enthusiast he knew with a my space page with over 28,000 friends. She called me and we talked …. at which time I told her about the drummer issue….. “Would I like to audition my grandson?” he’s looking for a band. duh -(he is twenty and has played for 14 years…)  I of course said yes called him and he asked if he could bring around his buddy to play bass.  Instant connection… just add music… we have only had 4 rehearsals (using the electronic drums left behind by the first guy- as the grandson had only a really cheap acoustic drum set he is thrilled to get to play the electronic set which he appears to be a wizard of some sort when he sits down with the kind of enthusiasm I have to play – he loves the music! And he is twenty, what an affirmation of potential for my material….

“During our first rehearsal he (apparently clairvoyant) said out of the blue ” I don’t think the drummer is coming back for his set… he just gave it to you…. new pa speakers and a stereo too….in that moment I felt Kimo make the decision to leave me the equipment and never come back -he has key’s….He mentioned his ears hurt from playing… I am hoping that something like that is what moved him to stop playing…

“Anyway we’ll be recording in the next weeks, I’ll send you some tracks…. still have not heard from Kimo, but without his drum set my current band would not have what it would take to do this. How weird a benevolent outcome is that? All kinds of things seem to go like that for me when I hold the faith that IT IS WORKING OUT.

“Here is one last thing for your readers to consider: I have basically made all my bills but have not been able to replace an Amplifier that has blown up. (I play through two amps, and have been making just one work for rehearsals)  I have spent many hours looking on line for something I want to buy but have received the thought repeatedly what I wanted to buy and has been designed specifically to fill my needs – but not in the market yet but available soon.

“I found the unit yesterday. At a music store that doesn’t sell the unit! I explained to the store manager the solutions I needed…. and he seemed very agitated…. after about two minutes of hymning and hawing around he announced he was going to show me his personal unit even though they didn’t sell them – available only online – no dealer in the US.  Anyway the unit is being released next week after the NAMM show with what spirit says are the various updates and refinements made since the prototype was released (the manager owns an early unit.) Now I know why I didn’t have money to buy something – that I would not have liked! So many MBO’s they just start to seem normal! Thank you Tom!”

VACATION COTTAGE RENTAL

Charlene writes:  “To add to your huge list of successful MBO’s (Most Benevolent Outcomes):  I left it a bit late in making reservations for Memorial Weekend.  We are combining a graduation ceremony with a couple days at the beach.  And in Northern California that can get to be rather insane finding a little hide-away if not booked very early.

“So my request was to find a wonderful little cottage that didn’t break my bank account and was within 1 hour of the beach and 1 hour of where we are to attend the graduation.

“Within two hours of looking online I found the absolutely perfect place nestled in its own little redwood grove 20 minutes from the beach and about the same from where the graduation is going to be.  I continue to stand in utter awe and gratitude!”

TERMITES MBO

Vicki in Texas writes:  “I did want to let you know about another mbo related to termites.  We had a termite swarm appear in our jacuzzi tub.  The pest guy with 20 years of experience chasing bugs came to check them out.  He was very knowledgeable and had all these ideas about where the bugs would be coming from.

“Both my husband and myself said mbo’s for the termite problem.  When the bug guy returned to treat the termites he could find no trace of a current termite problem.  He seems like the kind of technician who always finds the bugs so when he could not find any bugs he was totally baffled.  I know it was due to the Mbo’s.  I am hopeful that my husband’s cancer will go the way of the termites.  Thanks again for your newsletters, advice and most of all introducing us to Mbo’s.”

ADDICTIONS

Jill writes:  “My sister sent me the link for your site.  I say my requests for MBO’s daily and realize they have given me great strength.

“I seem to have a lot going on around me and unable to ‘see the forest for the trees’ – crisis in my marriage (sexual addiction), my own alcohol and food addiction, unclear direction and unemployment, no income, an international move in 3 months with no direction as to where we go…

“I say the same MBO’s daily. Should I change them each day?  I am not sure what to ask for with so much going on. At best I ask for strength and feel I am receiving that.  Keep up the good work and thank you very much!”

May I suggest for Jill and anyone else with any of these challenges you say, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for being led to the best treatments for my addictions FOR ME, thank you!” You can change the requests up each day, including requesting a Most Benevolent Outcome for remaining disease free until you are able to have sex only with someone you care about on a steady basis. You can even request a MBO that you do not meet someone who will have sex with you.

And as you may have read in my weekly newsletters and this blog, you can request a MBO for the PERFECT job for you and the PERFECT place to live.

ANOTHER MBO IN LONDON

I almost did not include this one, as Helena had written me before, but this is a really good demonstration of how requesting MBO’s can lower stress and fear, once you get used to using this simple spiritual tool.

Helena in London writes:  “I left my flat to go to work but decided to go back to get my diary that I needed; in my rush and absent minded after locking up my flat I came out the communal door and put my ruck sack on top of the dustbin shelter.  Unbeknown to me I put my flat keys down whilsted I opened my bag to put the diary in. Off I dashed to work (bearing in mind I had done my MBO’S that morning) (One of my MBO’S was asking that my home remains safe from intrusion etc.. the MBO that you recommend in your book).

“All my day went by, I worked late on Friday evening, so when I locked the surgery up I could not find my house keys. I searched everywhere; one of the receptionists was kind enough to help me search, but we could not find them anywhere. This made me panic; I couldn’t concentrate and started to fear the worse, so Heather, the other receptionist, offered to come home with me.

“I started to feel quite negative thinking “gawd my flats been broken into,” or “the neighbors have got my keys and have gone up into my flat.” Under the circumstances I would have just burst into tears, but for some reason I didn’t. On the way home I started pleading to the Angels for help and I started requesting for MBO’S for help. I didn’t care what my friend thought, but she was giggling and teasing me for the things I was requesting for (and she was looking at me in a strange way, but I did not care)!  She probably thought I had lost my marbles.

“I couldn’t believe it, as I got nearer to my flat–there sitting on top of the dustbin shelter were my keys!  I just could not believe they were still there as a whole day had passed, and it’s certainly a busy street where anyone could have taken them. My God, TOM my requesting of MBO’S had definitely worked for me. I thanked everyone and every thing for my keys and my flat being safe!  WOW TOM, aren’t I sure one LUCKY person? THANK YOU!  THANK YOU! THANKYOU!”

Helena had her Guardian Angel acting as a Security Guard for her all day!

So check out my website at http://TheGentleWayBook.com, where you can sign up for my weekly newsletters, if you wish.  The newsletters get into more advanced metaphysical type explorations.   I’ve also started Podcasting those for people who don’t have time to read.  There are also articles I’ve written for magazines, videos, and more!

Have a Most Benevolent Week everyone!

BENEVOLENT OUTCOMES BLOG #3

IN THIS BLOG:

TRIP TO CANNES, FRANCE

THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

THE GENTLE WAY BOOKS

Hi everyone and welcome to this third edition of my continuing blogs about a simple, yet powerful spiritual tool you can use every single day to make your life less stressful, less fearful, and much more enjoyable!  You accomplish this by simply requesting Benevolent Outcomes each day for the mundane things like driving to work each day, for more important things like a business meeting or for having a good day earning tips or making retail sales, to the really important things in your life like requesting the PERFECT JOB for you, the PERFECT HOME for you, and the PERFECT MATE for you.   You can read two sample chapters of my book on my website www.TheGentleWayBook.com.

This blog covers my trip to Cannes, France from London in October on a business trip I take two times a year for a world TV and DVD market, as I do international film and TV program distribution.   It will show you how often you can request Most Benevolent Outcomes (MBO’s) for all sorts of circumstances.

I’ll start at the first, with my flight from London’s Heathrow Airport on KLM with a change of planes in Amsterdam.  I made the mistake of forgetting to ask for a Benevolent Outcome for going through security and was stopped by a security guy and asked to put my roller bag in the metal form to see if it fit.  The wheels made it too long by about one inch or less, and he made me run back to check the bag in at KLM;  I knew I had a problem because of the combined weight of the two checked bags was at the maximum allowed, even though I was traveling business class.

They said I was at my limit and were going to charge me 130 GBP (about $200) overage.  My only option was to run downstairs (along with my roller bag and briefcase) to a store at the far end of the terminal and buy a cloth bag to throw everything into.  Naturally by now I said, “I request a Most Benevolent Outcome for buying the bag and resolving this problem, thank you!”.  I bought the cheapest bag they had which was 15 GBP (about $24) and ran back upstairs and started transferring virtually everything in the bag over to the cloth bag.  I then attempted to check the small roller bag and it weighed a total of 4 kilos (8.8 pounds).  The supervisor said that they would have given me 2 kilos, but since it was 4 they were going to charge me 50 GBP ($80) for the overage.  I started taking literally everything out of the bag including tissues and putting it on the floor next to the bag.  The two supervisors were called away and the lady at the counter told me to quickly give her the bag before they returned and she checked it.  That was the Benevolent Outcome to that problem!

Next back to the security line and of course I requested a MBO.  The guy who had made me return to the airline counter let me up to the front of the line, even though he said KLM had not paid for “fast track.”  I made the flight with time to spare and had a pleasant chat with a lady to Amsterdam (naturally I requested a MBO for someone interesting to talk to).  I had a long layover in Amsterdam before taking the flight to Nice, which I spent in a KLM lounge with free drinks and food.

I had requested a MBO for my bags to come out quickly in Nice and they did come out in plenty of time to make the bus to Cannes, which was filled with people going to the TV market.  I had requested a MBO to sit next to someone interesting, and I wound up sitting next to the British chap I had sat next to on the plane from London to Nice last March!  We still may do some business.  He even dragged one of my bags to my hotel, as he was traveling very light (what a great MBO!).  I showed him where to pick up his badge on our way, as he did not have his yet, and I was able to pick up my Guide book with everyone listed who was attending the market; this meant I did not have to return to pick it up, a very nice MBO!

One problem I had before commencing my trip was that when the head of the New York Reed Midem office had left in May or June, the new people denied giving me a “Platinum” card which allowed me to have meetings in the VIP Club.  After experiencing congestive heart failure (and a MBO of a full recovery) in 2006, my doctor said he didn’t want me to have the stress of having a booth or “stand” as they’re called in Europe.  I decided I could use the Buyers Club if needed, but requested a MBO when I twice emailed the head of the TV department at Reed Midem requesting the Platinum card.  I never received a response from her, so as I TRUST MBO’s to work PERFECTLY, I knew the Buyers Club would be best, and it was.  I met several buyers there that were not on my list of 60 appointments I had for the 4 days of the market and we had meetings either when there were no-shows for appointments, or in the few remaining times I had left.  Needless to say I was exhausted each night, as I didn’t leave until about 7:00 pm.  I did reconnect with the two young ladies from Canada I mentioned in my weekly newsletter last year at the Buyers Club and they’re still requesting MBO’s.

Monday night I was invited to a buffet dinner at the Majestic Hotel Beach and requested an MBO for someone to talk to.  I met an interesting gentleman by the name of Julius who does the PR for the World Music Awards each year in Monaco.   He says I should be drinking a glass of water each day with cayenne pepper, so I’ll have to investigate that.

I shipped a box weighing 17 kilos to Frankfurt, so I would not have to pay 10 Euros ($14.70) per kilo overage on Lufthansa.  This proved to be a MBO, as I had to roll three bags to my hotel in Frankfurt from the train station.  More on that in the next blog.

I did a 45 minute walk each morning after the Cannes Market finished all the way from my hotel to the end of the sea wall at the “new port” as they call it and back.  I walked along the Croisette before sunrise, but still daylight.  It was interesting to see all the big hotels that line the Cannes beach, but also the cruise ships that lie off shore and all the people preparing the restaurants that sit directly on the beach for the day.  I requested a MBO each morning for my walk to be interesting and it varied each day.

Much work and deliveries happens, with the sidewalk washed each morning by the “city jet” crew with a small water truck that went down the sidewalk with them, the garbage men picking up the trash in the bins that line the sidewalk, the crew building a large temporary structure on the beach, probably for a large party for the upcoming Duty Free Market the following week, walkers, joggers, and even a homeless man that sleeps against the seawall I walk on top of heading for the huge yachts at the end of the wall.  He’s a real character that feeds the birds and somehow fixes what appears to be tea, in a glass cup and saucer.  I said “bonjour” to him each day and he cackled a “bonjour” back to me.  He had clothes and lots of other things spread out on the huge boulders that lie against the walkway below the sea wall. More about him in the next blog.

Until then, have a Most Benevolent Week, and a Most Benevolent Thanksgiving!
