MBOs FOR SOCCER GAME & PEACEFUL DAY

Alaea writes:   So today was a double header back to back at multiple locations with soccer and 3 kids and around 300 other people. Requested my MBO and each time got up front parking when people were walking 1/4 mile or more. I also tossed in a MBO for a peaceful day and amongst the seemingly chaotic environment of 6 soccer fields right next to each other at one location the whole day has and continues to feel peaceful. I was even offered a chair by a kind soul out of the blue.

MBO FOR CONTRACT RENEWAL

Michael writes:  I have a friend who practices medicine in Texas and is the director of a small group.  Their small group had been offering exclusive, cost effective services which met all of the hospital’s needs for a couple of years. However, the hospital administration, for some reason, was in the market for a larger group and told my friend that their contract was going to be cancelled.  The administration told my friend that this was cast in stone and that the incoming group would not be interested in employing my friend in any capacity.  This was huge for my friend because they had bought a house and made other permanent commitments in the community.  It seemed dismal for my friend.  

My friend already knew of The Gentle Way and practiced MBOs on a few occasions.  I offered a BP and told my friend to offer an MBO.  The next thing I knew, I got a text photo of the MBO, which my friend had painted on their bathroom mirror in big red letters.  I had to laugh, because the MBO was so emphatic.  The very next day, my friend was called to the administrator’s office and told that the larger group was no longer a consideration and that my friend’s group would get a new contract.  Ever since, there has been a good relationship between administration and the group.  Raises and increased benefits have been included in the new contract. While my friend still worries about the fickle decisions of the administration, they rejoiced in the miracle that followed this MBO request.  My friend and I are abundantly grateful for the way that you have shared The Gentle Way.   Thank you.

MBO TO EXCHANGE SHOES

Lee writes from Florida:  I had to exchange a pair of shoes I ordered online, and one of the options was that I could exchange it at a local store; so off I went after saying an MBO for an easy exchange. Got to the store early in the day and the store manager took my shoes and receipt. Problem was I had paid using PayPal, so the store could not do the exchange, it had to go through PayPal (PayPal policy). Because the shoes were pristine, and all the tags and hanger were there, he let me just walk out with the new size, and he kept the other pair. Awesome! In and out in about 10 minutes, only because he was researching to see if there was a way to exchange without PayPal.  MBOs for every part of my day!

MBOs FOR TIME MANIPULATION

Arlene writes:   I love saying MBOs and am always amazed at this key living tool.  Specifically, I am kind of a “late” person but hopped in my car the other day and looked at the dashboard clock. No way could I make it cross-town to my destination on time. I figured I would be at least 10 minutes late. I said an MBO out loud, took off and avoided looking at that clock. Well, I pulled up to my destination right on time. Thank you, thank you.

Erica writes:  I did this recently too. Running very late for an art class held up in a mountain forest that normally takes 20-25 minutes to drive. Quiet road with no traffic so just me and my car AND the Angels.

I only had 15 minutes when I looked at the car clock, so I said an MBO and didn’t look at it again until I pulled into the car park and turned off the car. Arriving at exactly the time I requested to the minute!!

I love this knowledge and the simplicity in using it that Tom shares with us.  Thanks Tom! I’ve worked so many miracles using MBOs now that I’ve lost count!!
I find myself saying them daily ….for all sorts of situations….for me, family, friends, animals, the world…….and even politicians.

MBO’S FOR SHOPPING & CAR PROBLEM

Sharon writes:  Ever since I came across your books, my life has taken a different turn and somewhat improved that much more.  I have always believed in affirmations, and did do them but not regularly enough.  Coming across your books Tom has put a whole perspective on things, and it is so easy!  I am so excited to the point that I share this concept with everyone I come across if they are willing to listen to me.  If they don’t, then their loss I guess, but hey I explain, share the message, what have you got to loose, just try.  A couple of my stories …

I go through my routine MBOs in the morning, and during the day, I will add a couple depending on the situation.  Being the skeptic that I am, or the tester of all things, I consistently test myself and also Spirit world.  Test the theories that I come across.  One day, I had time to kill, I was in a shop waiting for a photo collage that I had wanted to print out for my sister’s birthday, while I was there, I was looking for things for a recent tablet that I had brought.  One of the items I looked at was a bag to store the tablet in.  The bags ranged from $10 – $25 depending on the brand you selected.  The one that I selected, there was no price tag on it, so I had no clue how much it was.  Either way I requested a MBO that the bag I had picked up was on special and that I get a couple of dollars off the full price.  After a little synchronicity that my Grandfather had organized to let me know he was around which is another story, I finally got the price after much trouble getting a code for the bag, and next thing I had this man say, well look, this bag is on special, you get $2 off the original price … I smiled, knowing that the MBO was in play.

Another very recent big MBO is my car, after all the small MBO’s, I thought I would test it out on something bigger … I requested a MBO that any and all beings help to find out the problems with my car, and that it did not cost me too much and that it was a most benevolent outcome.  Well as it turned out, after much frustration dealing with the Mechanics, in the end I stopped myself, took a step back, and took out my emotion from the situation of dealing with the mechanics, leaving it up to the Universe.  

Ended up with a nice result, all of the problems were being taken care of by warranty as the problems that I was having, I had started complaining about things back in 2010 so it seems when they checked my car history, and pretty much each service since then, it was decided to cover the transmission and fuel pump all under the full warranty, and not the extended warranty where I would have got $1,000 off the whole price of fixing what I can only imagine a lot of money to do.  So I consider myself very thankful!  It is all down to trust!  Thank you to you Tom, and to Universe. I’m sure now that my Guides and other beings are smiling knowing that they were able to help, and continue to help, and finally working instead of sitting around “watching”!

MBO’S FOR CAR PROBLEMS

Kathy writes:  I have been requesting MBOs for traveling on the road for my sister and me. As a result our cars have been in the shop quite frequently over the past few weeks. Both have over 200k miles, but they are built well and expect they will have many more miles to go. The problems we have found were very critical and because of MBOs they were detected early enough to prevent more costly and dangerous breakdowns down the road, had they not been detected early.

So while somewhat annoying to have to tend to these continuous maintenance issues, and inconvenience, I am ecstatic that our GA’s have been looking out for us so well. Truly, we are so blessed. Thank you at Tom for sharing this wonderful, continually amazing, way of living life. You have transformed my world.

MBO FOR ARRIVING ON TIME

Kimberly writes:  Here is my MBO story from yesterday. I was in the car taking the kids to their soccer game. The started to complain that we were going to be late when I stopped for a red light that is known to take a long time. I told all 3 boys in the car “lets do a MBO together – It is our Most Benevolent Request that we will arrive exactly when we need to be at the field with ease and grace.” My two rolled their eyes and went with it as they are used to the program. The third child looked at me like I was nuts but repeated the words anyway.

Without speeding or hitting another red light we arrived 5 minutes early. As my boys’ friend was getting out of the car he asked, “Now what was the request thing again?”  My youngest son told him and then said, “It also works pretty good for tests.” When they shut the car door I laughed until tears came. By the way, they won their game too.

MBO FOR APPOINTMENT

Lee writes:  Left for work on time but hit quite a bit of traffic congestion. I mark my progress to work by where I am at a certain time. Usually do say an MBO for the commute and one for my day at work. Well, this morning I was running about 8 minutes behind due to the traffic. I was sitting in my car and thought boy, what happened to my commuting MBO this morning? All of a sudden I realized that I didn’t say one so quickly did and asked to get to work on time.  I had an appointment and needed to be in 15 minutes early do I could do prep.  

I wouldn’t look at the clock again and just drove to work. Not only did I get there on time, but also I arrived a couple minutes early and had to wait for someone to come and open up and my client was 10 minutes late! Now that is an MBO that works better than expected! Thank you, thank you, thank you Tom for sharing your gift do generously.

MBO WAS BETTER THAN REQUESTED

Laura writes:  I have one… the garage wanted $900 to fix my car and I asked for help and MBO. I put the car on Craigslist, (I have another that gets horrible gas mileage and has issues) and no one responded even though I put it for only $1200, (it is an older Toyota that runs on fumes and is very safe snow car) and no takers. Then a kid from my son’s high school offered to fix if for free! Well I did pay him and it was still less than half of what it would have cost me IF I had that kind of money in the first place.

MBO FOR LADY TO FIND PURSE

Penny writes: My son and I were at Cincinnati Zoo in the Jungle Trails area. It is really a packed dirt path through the woods and fairly secluded. We came up to the lemur exhibit and there was a bag sitting on the ground. I didn’t want to move it, because my intuition was telling me loud and clear that the person who left it was probably nearby. So I asked for a benevolent outcome for the person who left the bag to notice right away that it was missing and come back for it, and for no one else to pick it up in the meantime.

We walked a short distance to the next building, about 2-3 minutes after I said the MBO a woman came tearing around the corner with her small daughter in a stroller. She was looking panicked so I asked her if she was looking for a bag? She said yes and I was able to tell her it was just around the corner. That was a very quick answer for a very important need, I made sure to tell my skeptical son what I had done.

MBO FOR SNAKE TO LEAVE!

Donna writes:  On Saturday I noticed that a black garden snake was sitting in a potted plant on my screened-in patio. I could see his head and several inches of his body standing straight up, so I used a couple of MBO’s and a BP to ask him to leave and move away from the house. After about 15 minutes, he slithered out of the pot and out through a small opening in the screen that I didn’t even realize was there.

When I saw him leave, I realized that he was at least 3 feet long! I know he wasn’t poisonous, but I couldn’t let my kitty out while he was there, and I sure didn’t feel comfortable about going out there! I honestly don’t know what I would have done without the help from the MBO’s. A friend of mine witnessed the whole thing, and she was so impressed that she’s saying MBO’s for everything now! Thank you so much, Tom! Enjoy your long weekend!

A couple of Benevolent Prayer requests for this week for EVERYONE to say OUT LOUD right now.  This gives you practice in asking for benevolent outcomes for someone else, and my Guardian Angel Theo says that these prayers said over a 24 to 48 hour period (as people read this) has a crescendo effect, so please participate!

“I ask any and all beings to come to the aid and assistance of all the people affected by earthquakes to bring them to safety and assist them in rebuilding their lives, thank you!”

“I ask any and all beings to keep safe and aid and assist all those in Libya to bring peace and democracy to their country, thank you!”

MBO FOR SEWER LINE

David writes:  Last weekend we had some problems with sewage backing up. In the process of determining what needed to be done we found out that it was not my line but the main sewer line belonging to the town. I called them, and the person on call, when he arrived, told me that because I did not have a ‘ clean out ‘ valve located at the street there was nothing he could do for me (it seems they are not allowed to come any further than the edge of the property).

After attempting to clean it from my end we were still unable to get things flowing. I called them again, the nest day, but not before using an MBO this time. And this time, while again explaining the town’s policy he then suddenly suggested that he would do it for me anyway, as a favor. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth I helped him move the hose into place. It took him all of five minutes and we were in business (the # 2 business ) once again. 🙂  I thanked him, and tipped him, as we said our goodbye’s. Now that’s what I call a good thing!

A MBO SURPISE

Marais writes:  Portland, Oregon has been having some very, very cold weather and had snow in the forecast. The last time that happened, the storm suddenly veered off course and bypassed us completely. I threw so many MBOs toward snowfall and when that happened, I prayed for snow overnight that would stick until morning. When I got that, I said another prayer that my classes would be canceled.

I was a little fussy when I got to class…and then class was canceled and I ended up having a fun adventure and lunch with my friends from that class. So, maybe it wasn’t exactly what I had imagined my snow day outcome would be, but I can’t complain: instead of watching TV all day, I got to laugh and socialize!

MBO FOR WASHER

Lyn writes:  I’ve been using MBO’s daily and have shared them with friends, one of whom uses them often with great results. I’ve had great results too and wanted to share a big one I had recently. My washer needed a repair that would have cost $150 and my neighbor who fixes them said he knew a guy who fixes washers who might have a newer model (mine was over 11 years old) for about the same price.

He made the call and his friend said he could sell me one (six years old) for $160 and for another $50 he’d deliver it and take away the old one. I had a week to think about it. I said a MBO for finding a washer for $150. I looked around but didn’t find anything for that price. I had resigned myself to the idea of paying out $210.

The day came and the friend of my neighbor came out with the washer which was a matched mate to my dryer which previously had been part of a mismatched pair. He even broke up a matched set to do this for me! He had cleaned it so immaculately it looked brand new. Anyway he offered a new deal, $175 for the washer and take away of the old one. When it came time to pay for it though, he offered the washer and take away for $150.

I never asked him to lower his price once. And I got it for what I asked for in the MBO. You can be sure I’ll be sending my friends to him and/or my neighbor for any repairs in the future!  Once again, MBO’s to the rescue! Thank you, Tom, for enlightening us to this simple and effective way to make our lives so much more stress free.

MBO FOR GRANDSON IN SCHOOL

Ruth writes:  This is the best MBO I could have received.  I got an e-mail from my daughter, telling me that my grandson, who has had a rather rough time with life, and only had eleven weeks to go until graduation was being kicked out of school for the rest of the year because of a confrontation with a teacher.  Needless to say, we were heartsick.  I asked for an MBO for his school situation with an outcome even better than I could imagine.

Later that day I received another e-mail.  My grandson had returned to school to present his senior activity to the board.  The board loved it and he has been accepted back into school.  Several of the teachers were in tears, it was so touching.  He will receive a medal for it at graduation and his name will be in the program.  They said they wanted him to graduate as badly as we did and they would do their best to get him through the next eleven weeks.

What an MBO.  I cried with gratitude.  It was certainly better than anything I ever could have imagined!

Lindsay writes:  This morning when we arrived at school, my 12 year old daughter Carly announced today that these “MBO’s” really work.  Why?  Last Saturday we went to Select Soccer Try-Outs along with hundreds of kids.  She was crying, didn’t want to get out of the car, said she had a stomach ache, her eyes stung from the sun screen that got in them and she was sure since there were so many kids, there was no way she would be chosen.  I said it was time for her to say an MBO to help her.  She did and reluctantly got out of the car.

After that try-out, the 1st of the required 4 try-outs, the coach came up to me introduced himself and told me that my daughter has everything he could want in a player.  He talked about her leadership, her tenacity, her presentation, maturity, respect for adults and he went on and on.  After the try-out the next day, the same coach came up to me told me Carly is his favorite and he definitely wants her for his team.   Carly’s angels must have really gone to town on her behalf.  It’s 5:55 as I’m typing this.

To top it off, Carly won Lady GaGa tickets from our local radio station a couple nights ago after her MBO to win and today, against all odds we got to school in 3 minutes, a major record.  My other daughters are noticing this and want to know her secret!  I’ll make sure she shares.

BIG BINGO WINNER

Mary Lou writes:  I have to tell you I won a Jackpot at Bingo, about two weeks ago.  It was $7,000, but I took out $2,100 for taxes.  I put that in the bank.  My husband said, “I told you that you would get it.”  I asked for a MBO. Keep up the good work.

WHEELCHAIR BENEVOLENT PRAYER

Eleanore writes:  There is a young woman, where I live, who is confined to a wheelchair; the kind you must propel by hand.  I asked her one day, why she didn’t have a motorized scooter and she said they would not authorize one for her. I said an MBO to ask that she be motorized so she wouldn’t have to work so hard to get around.

Three days later, I met her. To my amazement, she was driving a motorized scooter!  I told her how delighted I was for her and asked her what happened.  She told me one of the other women she knew got a new scooter and didn’t need this one so she gave it to her!!!  I was completely blown away and you can be sure I sent much gratitude to those angels who managed that.

MBO DELAYING DHL

Jackie writes:  Friday I had my day completely destroyed by learning I had made a mistake the previous week and had to correct it immediately and get the shipment out for Australia by the end of the day so they’d have it Tuesday (their time) to process.  This isn’t a lot of time.  As the day went on I was starting to worry.  As I got to the end of the day I knew my file wouldn’t complete copying to the disk until about 5:45pm. DHL comes whenever they come between 5 and 6 and he had called around 5:30 to alert shipping he was on his way.  I was racing the clock.

So I asked, twice actually using different wording, for the most benevolent outcome for this shipment. I ended up getting the disk down there at 5:50, just moments before DHL arrived, after agreeing to wait for this last shipment.

The reason this all worked out?  Right when I said my benevolent prayer (BP) the signal light broke.  On top of that, other cars weren’t letting the driver through.  He sat at that light for 20 minutes, giving me the time I needed to complete the shipment.  Right after he left the light was fixed so no one else had to experience delays.  Beyond that, the driver was on overtime so he earned a little extra cash which he very much needed but didn’t ask for.

If I hadn’t asked for my MBO (most benevolent outcome) he wouldn’t have gotten his overtime. So this was a super benevolent outcome in my mind. lol    On my way out of the office to rush home I said a ton of thank yous as I felt so much relief having it all work out.  If it hadn’t I would have been ok but I am very appreciative for the help. 🙂

A MBO is something SPECIFICALLY for you and a BP is when you’re asking for something benevolent for someone else.  Just that simple.  And another “rule” is that it has to be benevolent for everyone involved in the MBO request.  In this case, the delay was benevolent also for the DHL driver who was paid for overtime–a win-win for everyone, including the clients in Australia!
